We feel that everyone is entitled to enjoy the confident feeling of an attractive smile. We pride ourselves in keeping current with all the latest techniques to help you achieve that beautiful smile you have always wanted.

We can do many procedures to help enhance the smile. Sometimes all that is needed to enhance a smile is what we call Cosmetic Blending. This is done simply by smoothing away sharp, pointy surfaces in order to recontour the shape of the teeth. Very little enamel is removed and there is no danger to the tooth.

Tooth Whitening is one of the most widely used methods to improve a smile. Many times, the teeth are straight and are a nice size and shape, but are not a pleasing color. This is easily accomplished with whitening, and in a short time you can have that sparkling smile you always wanted.

Another way to improve a smile is with porcelain veneers. Veneers, (a thin shell of porcelain) can be placed on the teeth to close spaces and/or correct irregularities in the shape and size of a tooth, or even just to improve the color of teeth that are badly stained from antibiotics taken as a child and do not respond to whitening. Very little tooth structure is removed and the veneer is cemented directly to the face of the tooth.

Full porcelain crowns can also be done to improve the smile. These are done on the front teeth and are used for the same reasons veneers are, but more tooth structure is taken away because the crown completely covers the entire tooth like a hat, not just the face as veneers do.

Cosmetic bonding can also be done, but we do not recommend it due to the fact it chips and stains so easily and must be redone often to keep it looking nice. Veneers and crowns are much more long lasting and porcelain does not change color.

Financing is available to help you with the costs of these items, as usually you will not get much help from dental insurance on these elective procedures. Call today to schedule an evaluation, so we can assist you with developing your new and improved smile!
